Pricing comparison

TechMan pricing vs Garegi pricing

TechMan has four tiers, two plan types, credit charges on top, and upfront fees on the flexible plan. It's genuinely hard to know what you'll pay until you add it all up. Here's the breakdown.

TechMan's pricing structure

TechMan offers two ways to start. The Partner plan requires a longer-term commitment but has no upfront cost and a 20% lower monthly rate. The Flexi plan is a 30-day rolling contract but carries an upfront onboarding and implementation fee.

Partner plan (longer commitment, no upfront fee)

TierMonthlyUpfront
Starter£99£0
Lite£189£0
Advanced£315£0
Pro£415£0

Flexi plan (30-day rolling, upfront fee)

Starter£99£100
Lite£239£500
Advanced£399£1,300
Pro£529£1,300

The credit charges most people miss

On top of these subscription prices, TechMan charges credits for what it calls "hygiene tasks": DVLA lookups, SMS reminders and mailshots. These are not included in the monthly fee. For a busy garage doing 10–15 jobs a day, credit top-ups of £50 to £150 a month are commonly reported. That means the real monthly cost of a TechMan Advanced on the Partner plan is closer to £365–£465, not £315.

Garegi's pricing

Garegi has one garage management module at £200 a month. There are no tiers, no credit charges and no upfront fees. Everything is included:

  • Unlimited users
  • Vehicle and MOT lookups included
  • 300 SMS reminders a month included
  • Customer booking website included
  • Onboarding and data migration included
  • GSF parts ordering and Bond wholesale tyre integration included

When TechMan's pricing makes sense

For garages that need HaynesPro and Autodata technical data built into their system, that capability is only available on TechMan (among these two). If you're in the LKQ, GSF or NAPA partner networks with discounted rates, the pricing equation changes. And if you're a larger garage that needs the Pro tier's automation and marketing features, TechMan offers capabilities Garegi doesn't have yet.
